Nigeria gets new resort

In Nigeria, the ground breaking ceremony of the multi–purpose Imo Wonder Lake Resort and Conference Centre at Oguta has been performed by governor Ikedi Ohakim.

The first phase of the scheme expected to cost over N80bn, according to the governor and will include the building of a 150–room five–star hotel, a casino, 18–hole golf course, gymnasium, spa and health centre. Other facilities expected in the first phase include a boutique mall, outdoor pool beach, upgrading the existing 66 rooms at the sites motel to 150 rooms, an amphitheatre and marina.
