Bosco has been named official outfitter of the city volunteers for the 2011/2012 test events in Sochi, after signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Sochi city administration that formalises the Moscow–based fashion label's long–term commitment to supporting Sochi 2014's ambitious legacy vision.

The MOU was signed at a ceremony by Mikhail Kusnirovich, the inspirational head of Boscos parent company, Bosco di Ciliegi; and Mayor of Sochi, Anatoly Pakhomov. President and CEO of the Sochi 2014 Organising Committee, Dmitry Chernyshenko, also attended the event. The announcement came just as Bosco prepared to welcome some of the Olympic familys most illustrious names at a gala reception for the European Olympic Committees General Assembly. Boscos hospitality venue for Sochi 2014, the Sochi Sea Port, played host to the event and offered a sneak preview of the elegance and warmth guests can expect during the Winter Games. The prestigious guest list featured Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and President of the Russian Olympic Committee, Alexander Zhukov; IOC President, Dr. Jacques Rogge; EOC President, Patrick Hickey; and more than thirty IOC members. Mikhail Kusnirovich spoke of his pride at further cementing the relationship with Sochi 2014: " Bosco is determined to help engage more fans more powerfully with the Olympic Movement. The Sochi 2014 Volunteer Programme will be a great platform for achieving that and it is a real honour to be supporting the Organising Committee and the city administration in this initiative. " At Bosco, we believe winning is about more than being on the podium; its about passion, style and fair play; its about the Beauty of Success. Thats why we are proud supporters of the volunteer movement in Russia and the values it is instilling in our young people. " The latest MOU supplements Boscos existing agreements with Sochi 2014. As well as being the outfit suppliers for the Organising Committee, the 12, 000 Torch Relay participants and all 30, 000 volunteers, Bosco is also a Tier 1 Partner and had a lead role in creating Sochi 2014s Look of the Games. By providing such a striking visual identity, Bosco hopes to help Sochi 2014 stamp an indelible mark on the memories of winter sports fans across the globe. Dmitry Chernyshenko commented on the MOU: " Bosco has been a loyal supporter of Sochi 2014, and I would like to thank them for their latest show of commitment to our cause. Our Volunteer Programme is a key part of our mission to create a sustainable legacy today. When Sochi first began its Olympic journey, the volunteer movement was virtually non–existent in Russia. Over a quarter of a million volunteers have already taken part in various events driven by Sochi 2014 and our partners in the past year. I am sure this new partnership will help us sustain that incredible momentum. " Anatoly Pakhomov added: " The city of Sochis volunteers are going to be an enormous source of pride for us, and for the entire country. They will have been selected from hundreds of thousands of applicants for their passion and dedication. Those volunteers will be vital for the success of the Games, and with Bosco on board, we can be sure they will get a uniform that really sets them apart as an outstanding group of people. ","43
