The Effective Strategies to Manage Event Risk, Safety and Security Conference (ERSS) 2010 is a unique platform for sharing best practice and effective strategies to manage critical issues of risk, safety and security which apply to every public or participant event, large or small.

Along with the two conference days, Event Risk, Safety and Security Conference 2010, also hosts a pre and post event workshop. These workshops are definitely one of the key features of the conference. The theme for these workshops will be on the fundamentals of event safety planning. With a thorough risk assessment completed, you will also learn strategies to effectively implement and manage your risk strategy at your own event, whatever the size or diversity. Your workshop leader for this is Richard Limb CFIOSH, FRSH, MCIEH, DMS, President, National Outdoor Events AssociationThe ERSS post conference workshop, which takes place on 24 September 2010 will be led by senior safety consultant and lecturer, Glen Hunt, who will provide a complete overview of the key aspects of pre–event planning to provide a thorough understanding of health and safety legislation and management, through real life case studies. The worskhop is designed to give you a broad overview of the Health & Safety issues to be considered when producing live small to large scale outdoor events.
