The company will supply city and venue brand dressing for the end–August 2010 FIFA Inspection visit and ongoing branding services in the coming months, prior to FIFA making their final decision at the beginning of December 2010. Andy Anson, CEO of England 2018, commented: "We are delighted that Icon has decided to Back the Bid. Its proven experience at a range of high profile sporting events and in particular at this year's FIFA World Cup in South Africa will help us to ensure that FIFA realises just how much the bid and the country can offer and what a fantastic World Cup England would host. "Attending a World Cup is for many a once in a life time experience. Icon is proud to be a part of the bid team and will do all that it can to ensure that the FIFA delegates get the chance to experience the energy, passion and inspiration that we believe England would supply to the tournament in its role as the host nation, " explained John Francis, managing director at Icon.
