The line–up of major sports personalities appearing at the inaugural Aspire4Sport Conference and Expo has received yet another boost with confirmation that Sir Alex Ferguson will be attending the event in Doha, Qatar from 15–18 November 2010.

The Manchester United manager will take part in a special one–to–one on Wednesday 17 November, giving a unique insight into his career and thoughts on management. This not–to–be–missed addition to the stellar line–up confirms yet again that Aspire4Sport will play host to an amazing array of guest speakers. Among those also confirmed to appear are; Barcelona president Sandro Rosell, Internazionale de Milano CEO Ernesto Paolillo, Athletics superstar Michael Johnson and Tennis legend John McEnroe. Ferguson has made a previous visit to Qatar, when he took his team to a warm weather training camp at the Aspire Academy earlier in 2010, a trip that left a lasting impression on the legendary manager. "Aspire's complex is without question the best I have ever seen, " Ferguson said after the trip. " Not only that, the operation is so well managed that it has made our stay very easy and relaxed. We hope that this journey is not our last here and that it will initiate a true bond between Manchester United and our friends at Aspire and in Qatar. " Clearly that bond will be strengthened further during the conference in November, which will also give Sir Alex a chance to watch five time FIFA World Cup winners Brazil play Argentina in a prestigious international friendly. Fans at the Argentina versus Brazil international match at the Khalifa International Stadium on Wednesday 17 November will also witness an amazing gathering of football stars with the staging of World Cup Icons prior to the match. World Cup Icons–part of the Aspire4Sport Conference and Expo will see superstars from the last 40 years of the tournament honoured by a packed house and presented with awards celebrating their part in its history. Legendary stars including Carlos Alberto, Mario Kempes and Ossie Ardiles are just some of the names that have been announced as attending. Aspire4Sport is a four–day combined exhibition and congress featuring major forums, leading personalities, coaching clinics and major events including the Aspire4Sport Tennis Masters with John McEnroe playing Bjorn Borg.
