Event Preview: SPORTELRio

From 11-13 March 2013 the SPORTEL organisation will once again welcome the global sports media industry leaders to SPORTELRio in Brazil.

The first ever SPORTEL in South America held in March 2012 was a sensation in the sports media industry. Nearly 600 attendees from all over the world came to do business in Brazil and with Brazilian companies. In fact, the market was the most successful SPORTEL ever to have been hosted outside Monaco due to an overwhelming buzz around the upcoming international sporting events to be hosted in Brazil.

SPORTEL aims to raise the bar when it once again welcomes the sports media elite for face-to-face meetings and networking in a vibrant business venue at the luxurious Hotel Sofitel Copacabana.

SPORTEL is the only executive business market for the global media industry in the world. For 24 years, SPORTEL has been globally accepted as the one ‘must-attend’ business market for any sports media company such as broadcasters, sport organisations or content rights holders, media technology or new media.
