For the MEI Team it has been a very busy time. A highly successful Cyber Security event for Major Events has led to requests for a “lessons learned” session after the London 2012 Games draw to a close.

Our recent event focusing on opportunities and the best way to approach the Brazilian market was very well attended. We were particularly grateful for the support from Sir John Armitt, Chairman of the London Olympic Delivery Authority, who has been responsible for building the London 2012 Olympic facilities and had some excellent insights on operating in international markets.

MEI has also recently planned and hosted a visit to some of the International Federations in Lausanne on a fact finding visit for SOS Global Express, a key client of MEI for many years who are expanding their operations in Europe and Brazil. SOS were very well received having delivered bespoke freight forwarding services to Broadcast and Sporting organisations since there formation over 20 years ago.

Joao Frigerio, an associate of MEI is based in Lausanne and is an expert on Brazil and European market penetration. His presence during the visit proved extremely valuable and highlighted that MEI’s network of global support and locally based contacts yields good results along with increased efficiency and a market leading edge.

Along with Joao, Lucas Lacombe, who is based in Recife in North East Brazil, will be in London during the Games with Jalil Balolia and Will Anderson of MEI. Our Team plans to have a strong presence during London 2012 so if you would like to meet any of us during the Games, please do let us know.
