Reaching the International Federations

Lausanne isn’t known as the Olympic Capital for nothing. The city of around 130,000 inhabitants located on the north side of Lake Geneva, on the French-speaking part of Switzerland is widely known as being the seat of the International Olympic Committee.

But it’s not only that. Lausanne also hosts the headquarters of nearly 20 other International Federations, apart from other influential sports organisations such as the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS), the Association of Summer Olympics International Federations (Asoif), the International Master Games Association (IMGA), the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and of SportAccord - the umbrella organisation for all (Olympic and non-Olympic) international sports federations as well as organisers of multi-sports games and sport-related international associations.

On top of that, Lausanne is located near other cities that host other important governing bodies such as Geneva (FIBA, FIA), Mies (FIM), Aigle (UCI), Bern region (FIS), Basel (Handball) and Zurich (FIFA, IHHF).

MEI has a constant presence in Lausanne, through its associate director Joao Frigerio, who enables clients to contact and liaise with major key players in the sports industry. With many years at the heart of the sports world, Frigerio and MEI can be the perfect link between you and opportunities explored within that landscape.
