Thursday 23rd July, 2015 - Major Events International (MEI), the only global membership scheme for major events, has confirmed its involvement at Rugby Expo 2015.

The 2015 event will be the fourth time that MEI has been a part of the sport’s largest business-to-business event and will see the organisation exhibiting as well as providing support pre-event as an official media partner.

Following this year’s Rugby World Cup, Rugby Expo will return to Twickenham on 26-27 November, as the two day event continues to cement its place as the world’s largest live conference, exhibition and interactive event focused on the business of club and provincial rugby covering all levels of the game.

Run in partnership and supported by Premiership Rugby, the RFU, SRU, WRU, Pro12 and Championship, the event, being run for the fifth consecutive year at Twickenham, is now regarded as the meeting place for the key decision makers of the sport.

Through the Major Events Network scheme, MEI provides connectivity, enhanced market profile and exclusive discounts to members who all aspire to win more business in major sporting events. Alongside this, MEI has a range of bespoke market penetration services on offer to companies operating in this space and offers a unique local support model counting on in-country experts in all major event host countries including Brazil, Australia, Qatar & USA.

Commenting on the partnership, Dennis Mills, Chief Executive of MEI said: “We’re excited to be partnering with Rugby Expo once again this year; the leading event delivering access to key decision makers for our members and allowing them to source business opportunities in this growing sport.”

Jonathan Wilson, Rugby Expo event director, said: “We’re delighted to have Major Events International back on board for Rugby Expo 2015 and extend our longstanding partnership into its fourth year; MEI’s fantastic worldwide network of contacts provides that link and support for companies who recognise the commercial opportunities available through               Image credits to PA Images.
