Contracts worth more than £47 million are on offer in Transport Security Expo’s Hosted Buyer programme

PVS9711 2smallThe Hosted Buyer programme is Transport Security Expo’s signature networking event, providing a platform for selected exhibitors to meet relevant buyers in a series of pre-arranged, face-to-face meetings.

In 2014, over 280 such meetings took place, launching many buyer/supplier relationships that might never otherwise have begun. This year, more than 20 buyers have already signed up for the programme and, collectively, they have in excess of £47 million worth of contracts to award. Representing every major area of the transport security sector, they include:

  • Abu Dhabi Ports
  • Airports Company South Africa (ACSA)
  • ANA Aeroportos de Portugal
  • Border Force
  • Bridge Co. Kuwait
  • Brinks Global Services
  • British Transport Police
  • DGRM Maritime
  • Dublin Airport Authority (DAA)
  • EFACEC
  • Eurostar
  • GACM - Mexico
  • Globalair - Air Europa
  • Heathrow Airport
  • Hong Kong International Airport
  • Iberia
  • London Luton Airport
  • PKP Cargo
  • Polish State Railways
  • Rotterdam The Hague Airport
  • TAP Portugal

PVS9892smallA carefully designed matching service will ensure that suppliers have the precise capabilities required to satisfy the requirements of the buyers they are scheduled to meet. As a result, both buyers and suppliers save invaluable time because they know that each meeting they have will offer the prospect of a successful outcome.

Peter Jones, CEO of Transport Security Expo’s organisers, Nineteen Events, commented:

The Hosted Buyer programme at Transport Security Expo has proven to be very successful in the past. This year, with more than £47 million worth of business represented by buyers who have already confirmed their participation, it looks set to be more successful than ever.”
