Verteda chosen by Amadeus for point of sale solutions at top Northern Ireland attractions
Verteda InfoGenesis point of sale (POS) technology has been selected by award-winning caterer Amadeus, the catering arm of the NEC Group, to support service management at four prestigious visitor attractions in Belfast. The five-year £12m contract with Belfast City Council, will see InfoGenesis™ POS solutions from Verteda used in the catering operations at Belfast Castle, Malone House, Belfast Zoo and the Stables coffee shop in Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park.
This is the second major contract win for Amadeus in the region, following a £16 million contract with Belfast Waterfront and Ulster Hall - with Verteda POS systems also used in those venues. The Verteda solutions were previously deployed by Amadeus in various venues providing catering solutions for, including NEC Group venues; the NEC, the ICC, Genting Arena and Barclaycard Arena.
