VERO goes to Rio

VERO Communications, a leading international sport business consultancy based in London, is delighted to announce the launch of its first overseas office in Rio de Janerio, Brazil. The new Brazilian office formally opened at the end of May 2011 with the company name MLA True Communications.

Since being formed in 2006 VERO has achieved year–on–year growth, and following a number of recent international client successes, MLA True Communications has now been established to deliver sports marketing and communications expertise to organisations in the Brazilian marketplace. Drawing on VEROs wealth of experience, including the successful Rio 2016 Olympic Bid campaign, and working closely with VEROs team of consultants in the UK, MLA TRUE Communications will capitalise on the sports industry opportunities in Brazil ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic GamesMLA True Communications will be headed up by Hettie Paul, appointed to lead and develop the consultancys Brazilian operation. Hettie joins VERO as Brazil Manager having worked in the marketing and communications industry for the past 10 years representing globally recognised brands such as Nestle, Pernod Ricard and Cadburys.
